AI Anti-Cheat for ESX FiveM Servers
Running an ESX city? BlackGuard is a server-side, AI-powered anti-cheat built to protect ESX FiveM servers — catching the cheats that wreck roleplay and flagging the money exploits that break your economy. It installs as standard server-side resources, needs no oxmysql and no database, and most servers are fully protected in under five minutes.
Why ESX servers need more than the built-in anti-cheat
ESX is one of the most widely used FiveM frameworks — which makes it one of the most targeted. The free/built-in anti-cheat gets bypassed quickly, and ESX economies in particular attract money exploits: duplication, impossible balance jumps, and abuse of society/job accounts. Banning cheaters one at a time is a losing game when their menu updates every week.
How BlackGuard protects your ESX server
- Server-side — nothing to leak. BlackGuard runs entirely server-side and talks to our cloud over HTTPS. There's no client resource for cheaters to decompile or bypass — the failure mode that breaks anti-cheats whose source has leaked.
- ESX economy detection. BlackGuard watches for abnormal money/economy changes on ESX and flags large anomalies for review — it won't auto-ban a legitimate big RP transaction, which protects your donors.
- Real-time core detection. Speed hacks, teleport, and impossible weapon-damage are auto-banned. Resource injection is flagged for review.
- Optional Vision add-on for visual cheats (aimbot / ESP overlays).
- No oxmysql, no ox_lib, no client mods. Zero hard dependencies — BlackGuard never touches your database. (oxmysql/ox_lib appear only in a safe-resource allowlist, not as a dependency.)

Works beyond ESX, too
Core detection is framework-agnostic — it also runs on QBCore, QBox, vRP, and standalone servers. Economy detection currently supports ESX and QBCore. Running QBCore instead? → FiveM Anti-Cheat for QBCore.
FAQ
Does BlackGuard work with ESX?
Yes. Core detection runs on ESX, and economy/money-exploit detection is supported on ESX (one of two frameworks with money-event hooks, alongside QBCore).
Does BlackGuard need oxmysql or a database on ESX?
No. BlackGuard has zero hard dependencies and never touches your database.
Will BlackGuard false-ban players for large legitimate transactions?
No. Economy anomalies are flagged for review, not auto-banned. Only speed hacks, teleport, and impossible weapon-damage trigger an auto-ban.
Does BlackGuard stop aimbot on ESX?
Visual aimbot and ESP overlays are covered by the optional Vision add-on, which analyzes the rendered screen. Cheats that do not render on-screen need other detection.
